I have tapes of Batman episodes that I was watching with my son last night (yes, the old 60's TV version). Chief O'Hara is standing out front of town hall gushing over Marcia the Queen of Diamonds who had previously shot him with cupids arrow rendering him helpless to her charms. Anyway, all these awesome cars are parked on the street, pretty much factory fresh ('stangs and t'birds and chevy's and...) when what drives by but an amazing bright red on red '61 or '62 C1 vert. I'm all psyched and stop the tape and watch it go by on slow-mo. Content in the find we start to watch the show and lo and behold the same car drives by again...the guy must have just been doing laps around the back of the set to make it look like a steady stream of gothic traffic. Maybe they should have used a slightly less obvious car. Fun stuff.
BTW for you B'Mobile fans new 1:18 scale models are due out in early 2008, made by Hot Wheels and offered at 3 price points, the highest of which promises to be amazing. Search on "Batmobile Super Elite" Mine are on pre-order...

Enjoy, Steve
I still have my original, first issue Corgie Batmobile with both Batman & Robin figures seated in it. Wish I still had the original box.

You can...I recently refurbed an original Corgi from '73 and got the refurb box as a series of jpg files...printed it out on glossy card stock and built it myself. Piece of cake, reasonable price and great finished look.
