I'm getting ready for a repaint on my dk blue 78 and think I like the 81 blu better. the paint code would be "28" dk blue met.

If one of yoosguys out there have this Vette, would you be so kind and help me out with a pic. of your pride and joy?

Yep, my '80 is Code 28 Dark Blue Metallic. It looks different in full sun vs. overcast, so I posted pics in several lighting conditions.

Very nice '80. My car is code 28 also however i beleive that it has had a repaint that looks just a little lighter with more metalic than stock.

Dave, your car is gorgeous. That is the color i'm looking for. I really appreciate you taking the time to upload those great pics.

I love the look of your glassed-in bumpers, it makes the car look smoothed out and "finished".

The little guy in pic #4 really likes it too.

Beautiful color!! Is that the same dark blue metallic offered in 1973?

Thanks! The tires are 255/60R15 - the optional tire size for that year and other years too. Yes, they will fit the stock 15x8 rims on your '82.
