The fan is still spinning...you may need a new fan clutch.

Note: If the fan spins more than one or two full revolution after it's hot and shutoff then the clutch is probably bad.

It looks like a way to get both manifold and carb vacuum to the brake booster. The line forward of the PCV looks to go to the carb. The rearward line obviously goes to the booster, where it meets line seemingly originating back by the distributor. Maybe a direct connect to the distributor and transmission modulator line?

I don’t see a check valve inline after the vacuum filter. Maybe using it for vacuum to main vacuum reservoir?

There's a valve on the top of the Charcol canistor

Other than the HEI cap and wires and aftermarket MC the engine bay looks very survivor quality. If the Air pump was on the car when you got it, then that confirms it even more. Any detailing in the future for under the hood?

Not as of now, just finished a Driveable/Reliable going through on it. Pulled the Air pump and pluged the holes. If you think it looks survivor now, you would of like to have seen it when I got it, 99% all original, which was part of the problem,, not very much maintenance was done. Still have all the original parts I pulled from the Car, when doing the once over though. I would say it was 99% survivor at that point,, numbers matching motor, if it matters on a '73 L48, l like that about it though.
