Default Body off!!

The lift started out shaky trying to use the motor lift. It keep trying to tip forward. We keep retracting the boom and it got so short if we lifted the body it would hit the lift jack. The son in law saved the day by getting a couple of his buddies with a boom truck to come by. The lift went real smooth. The only thing I failed to unhook was a rubber vacuum line on the motor. My wife took pictures so I don't know what we have but will share with you tomorrow.

Boom truck is great! You can't not get the body off with that!! (double negative)

Frame looks to be in excellent shape!

Give up some more pictures, so we can see the condition of the car!

Default Whats up with that

With the look of the frame and tank , I am curious why the body was removed?

Most bodies are being put back on when the farme and tank look that good

This is the motor lift setup that didn't work for me

Marines to the rescue

The lift. Who is that guy with all that silver hair? I don't remember seeing him.

Body on dollie

Not bad for a 40 year old piece of paper. How do I remove it??? Or do I

Safe in the garage. Now I can stop worrying about the lift and start worrying about the drop. But not nearly as much.

Sometimes I read too fast! Thought the second post was yours!

Though to myself, that frame looks awesome!!

The fun begins now that you have the body off. Looking forward to updates on your progress.

Take the best picture possible of build sheet, not sure how you can salvage it. Sure someone will chime in.

when I removed my tank sticker, I used a new razor knife blade and gently "shaved" away on the tank to release the paper. It worked well, but it was one of those things when you look back and say,"that could have gone poorly". Well, it worked anyway. I think it was stuck on wet paint, not glued on. Good luck with the whole project.

The body was being put back on after I replaced the rocker channels and the frame. The original frame was bent and rusted out. This was done in 2004

I must have about 75 pic's of this nightmare that is behind me now.
