Fitting different seats into a 79 C3
I am changing my interior color from Doeskin to Black. Does anyone have any experience changing to different seats? I figure later model black seats should be quite common in u pull yards. I do not want to weld up new frame mounts.

Try these...(i have them on my '77)
It's a Sparco 'rev pro' race seat...light, comfortable (for a bucket seat) and holds you well around bends...add lightweight alu seat mounts and you're done.

I was thinking of something a little more contemporary. Leather seats from a Honda or Mustang for example.
Dyeing my doeskins will be a PITA, I thinking I could pick up some that fits with little or no mods and save a bunch of time, I could then sell by doeskins and have $ for more mods.
