Default Undercoat/interior prep suggestions, please.

1969, 350/300, 3spd manual, cpe mostly original restoration.

Chasis is done!!! Engine runs!!! (Thanks Lars, and Bob...and all else.)

Working on the body. I've all but decided on the painter (Cannon in NC).
The body is stripped and gutted. Everything is out. I want to paint the engine bay, undercoat the body (including wheel wells), and prep/seal/paint the interior.

I would like recommendations on undercoat.

I have looked into lizard skin as an option...and a Dealer paint shop friend, can get me actual undercoat (I forget the brand). What do you think?

I was thinking Duplicolor semi-gloss black for the engine bay. Any thoughts? Should I use the same brand/shade of semi-gloss black that I top coated the chassis with?

Interior, I'll Por 15 all rusted/bare metal. What should I seal everything with...I was thinking the lizard skin for sound deadening and heat dissipation.

No AC btw.

I used both the heat sheild and the sound deadner Lizardskin products and I was very impressed with the system. The underside can be touched up with flat black (NAPA brand). I used the NAPA semi gloss on the firewall.

very informative pictures.

Did you spray any lizard skin on the interior?

Did you get their spray gun or use a regular paint gun?

Did you paint on the jig you showed, or did you suspend/lift the body to paint?

How many coats did you use?

Did you topcoat the lizard skin?

Your color is what color this one will be. Car looks good.

Yes inside and out

Did you get their spray gun or use a regular paint gun?
Used their gun, stuff is way too thick for a regular gun

Did you paint on the jig you showed, or did you suspend/lift the body to paint?
Painted on the jig, the pictures were taken as I finished

How many coats did you use?
Two coats each paint type

Did you topcoat the lizard skin?
no need to topcoact, finish is a vere nice flat black

Your color is what color this one will be. Car looks good.
Thanks!

Thanks but I doubt that I made any catalogs but I sure like looking at it in the garage, you know the drill, act like you forgot something so that you can go out and take one more look
