Same here my friend. My son is in from college and wanted to take the vette out. On his way home from work, he said no ride, there's salt on the road.

We can just hope it rains for a day, to wash it away. Then maybe, just maybe we get one more ride in.

I have a heated garage with plenty of work to do to them to keep my mind off of driving until spring. I will survive

This isn't Wisconsin, but we had 4 inches of snow Monday, gone by Tuesday. I'll be doing a little C3 driving over the weekend.

It was 32 here today but no salt yet. Wife helped me put the hardtop back on the '69... one more ride tomorrow than off to the painter to blow the car up over winter.

Boyz,
I feel your pain. I hate salt on the roads. Yeah, yeah, I know it lowers the freezing temp and all that. But the price we pay in rust on cars, plus, in my area, all that salt winds up in the Chesapeake Bay. And salt destroys concrete. It's not good. I would much rather see sand and/or cinders on the roads.

Hate to point this out, but our season is just starting...

My car fired up and ran for the first time in several years, and a red 69 convert was spotted out on another expedition to the auto parts store!

Can't wait to get the car out this winter!

It is cool here in SE Mass. No salt yet however. I hope I can sneek a Harley or Vette ride in before the salt falls.
