Default 76 Project Pics......

OK; I started with a $3000 investment for a daily driver. As you can see, I have my work cut-out for me. I was hoping for a cosmetic and mechanical resonable fix OH WELL, this is my second vette and it's off the frame we go.

I will keep you all posted. I will be replacing the floor pans and windshield frame prior to body removal. Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

Car looks very familiar...except for the rust! You have lots of work ahead of you, but I am sure it will be worth it. Good luck!

Are you gonna keep it yellow? I dig that color on the C3

Quick Question: Do you agree that I should replace the floor pans and windshield frame prior to removing the body from the frame?
Thanks,

I would do the ws frame with the body on and the floorpans with it off. Looks like you have quite a bit of damage in the ws and it might be weakened. Would do it first. IMHO.

A project like this is so much work, but you learn so much from the process and get so much satisfaction. Good Luck!

The floorpans and seats look sooooo familier! I didn't have the windshield frame to deal with, but did have a badly damaged front crossmember. You've got some work ahead, but we'll be here to stick our two cents in when it's not wanted

I think your 76 and mine must have been parked next to each other (somewhere outside in Florida). I'm in the middle of the windshield frame now; floor pans were last winter's project. Where are you located?
