you can only respond with so many words. I got screwed wit ha defective product from another country and left negative feedback after trying to work it out he in return left me negetive, what an a$$hole. I redponded with liar and left my contact infor and told any prospective buyers to cantact me for the completre story. he then offered to with withdraw his negative if I withdrew mine. I said not on your life, what a jerk

Just leave a negative. He will return the favor and you can do what Gator79 did. I just left a negative tonight. I ordered something and explained I was having it forwarded to the Bahamas so there was no way for me to reasonably return it if they fugged it up or it didnt fit. I asked if they could 100% assure me that it would fit my bike and they of course did. It didnt fit so they got a negative.

Ebay is a load of crap. I got tied up in the same situation and got my only negative feedback. I always ask if I did my job as a buyer, can I have feedback based on that. I leave feedback based on the over "deal". Soon as my Corvette project is done, I'm cancelling my account. Tank

"ebay terrorists" is the most ridiculous comment I've heard all day, and I guess I should expect that with someone with so little experience at this.

It's not a case of "you'd better leave positive or I'll leave a negative," it's "I'm going to withhold feedback until I see who I'm dealing with."

Feedback for buyers may be mostly about speed, (it's actually about much more) but the fact is buyers will let a seller leave positive feedback, and then feel free to rip the seller for absolutely the most ridiculous issues (no need to list there here.) Ive had plenty of buyers that were so out of line my only reaction was to not try to make them happy, just return the item. These people, once they have your feedback in hand, are 1000 times more arrogant and abrasive as THEY threaten negative feedback, knowing you cannot protect yourself. That's ebay terrorism, my friend.

Please don't pretend that buyers are any more moral or rightious than sellers (or vice versa).

What a jackass you are, and that's pretty much down grading the animal. A feedback score of 82 is "so little" experience? Just exactly how did you get to be such an authority? I'm 51 years old, retired for 13 years, and I have an Ebay score of 54, am I of such little experience too? I am a Veteran of 6-8 different wars/conflicts, does that give me a "little" experience? You are absolutely the most negitive Corvette Forum member I've seen, with my "little" experience that is. Tank Thomas, Retired USAF Aircraft Sheetmetal Technician

The best statement is"legal binding contract" once you win an auction.

This is not right. Both parties can ONLY leave feedback within a 90 day window from the date the auction ends. It is based on an actual 90 days, based on the exact time the auction ended,..(i.e., 9:25pm etc).

As stated previous, if you proceed and post the negative, you can file a complaint with eBay. After the 90 days, you can't. Also, if you post a negative and he post negative back, you can post a response that will show up whenever anyone reads your feedback.
