Carbon fiber paint prep experience?????
Anyone here have any caqrbon fiber pieces that they prepped for paint,and can walk me thru this?This is for a Buell gas tank that I have here made out of carbon fiber.
Next question......I've had some interest in carbon fiber vett hoods.Anyone have any experience w/using this stuff,or could point me in the right direction for some info. on this/doing this?

I paint carbon fiber flight controls at work,, it no differant than fiber glass,, sand, prime, paint. BTW, use a mask and gloves when sanding, carbon fiber is nasty for the lungs.
