well i have to start moving from one house to another on the 24th of december so i have been really busting my butt to get the vette driveable again and she started on the first try today. thank goodness i only have to drive it two blocks. well here is a picture of her out of the garage and in the driveway.
Just picked up my Vintage Air system yesterday!! I'll be rereading your previous posts, but any more words of advice will be much appreciated. I'll have the engine and tranny pulled, so it might make some things a little easier...? Cant wait to have MY car drivable again!!

i still havent finished my install yet. i still have to finish the wiring which turns out that i have to find the grey wire again because i guess it is used to calibrate the controls which i didnt know and its somewhere behind the dash pad i hate taking the dash apart. i wont do that till i get the car to the new hosue down the street so that i can start taking things apart again. im not sure if i mentioned it or not but the big plate for the firewall that comes with the kit that the hard lines pass through didnt line up perfectly on my car so if i was you i would line the plate up and use it to locate the spots to drill the holes for the bolt and plastic fasteners that come with the kit. i used the timplate that they gave me and tripple checked everything according to the instructions and it was off a little just take your time and READ the instructions twice before starting. trust me when i say you want to read them twice because it will save you a lot of time and headaches.
Heck you and a buddy could have pushed the car two blocks even if it didn't start.
one of my good friends said that he would help me do that but i live in military housing and i like living here and dont want to take any chances getting kicked out. its hard finding nice places around here with garages at a decent price. the place that i am moving to also is next door to my supervisor who always gives me a hard time and tells me that i dont know what i am doing and cant get the car running to save my life.
You can lose your home for pushing your car two blocks?
they dont want us having non running cars in our garages and they say taht we are not allowed to do any major repairs on them either just a bunch of stupid rules and they cant even fix the problems that some of these places are having. i love living here but some of the rules are rediculous. i really dont think that they mind the old project cars since there are a few of them here in the neighborhood that i have seen in some of the garages but never seen anyone get upset about them.

Mate - just before you pull into your new driveway and put your baby to bed, back it up all the way to your supervisors garage door and lay two big black marks all the way down to the road.....thay will fix that little problem!
