Just called gm and ordered a FREE restoration package for my 71 coupe. It has all of the factory specs and specs for my car plus more than I can list. Here is the number 800-222-1020 for the US. boys north of us in Canda use 800-263-3777 they charge in Canada but the US is Free. Make sure you have your vin number they will ask for it.
have a good Holiday.
sweet... got it... im sure it's nothing new that we don't already have in the tons of books and data here on the site but still.... you never know and it can't hurt to try. Maybe it'll come with some neat pics...
It's all the stuff your car originally came with. Kinda like a tank sticker only more info. I ordered mine yesterday. The GM rep. I spoke to couldn't have been nicer. Like someone already said, 3-4 weeks delivery.
I hope this is as cool as the window sticker I ordered a couple of years ago.
Sure would be neighbourly if an American would phone and order a package for a poor Canadian to thier address and then forward it to the poor Canadian's address .The poor Canadian would of course cover the postage costs .If your thinking the same thing pm me and I will get my v.i.n. to you .Thanks

Dave, do you still have the number you called for the window sticker? I asked the customer service rep about it after
i ordered my restoration kit and she said I needed to call AAA Enterprises @ 812-233-9024 but that number has a recording saying it has been disconnected.
Sorry, I don't have the # right now. It was thru GM, as I recall. They are now charging about $50. for the same thing thru the Vette Museum. If I come across the # that I called I'll post it.

GM quit doing that for free a while back - they transferred the files to someone who's doing it for about $50.
