Default Need Paint code help please

Hello, I just bought my first corvette. It is a 1974 454 coupe. It was repainted a while ago. I was told that all of the door tags and stickers were removed. The only one left is I believe for painmt and trim. It shows Chevrolet 008 then underneath it shows Trim: 416 a space then 68L a space and the word paint. I have tried to attach a photo but don't know how. I looked up the info and don't see anything for a paint code 008? It is currently a medium blue with Tan leather interior. there is also cruise control on the car and i didn't think any of the corvettes had CC in those years. Any help here would help. It is a 454 auto car as the first vin #'s are 1Z37Z4S******. Thanks for any help. Tim

I believe the paint code for your car should be 922 for medium blue if it was blue originaly and that should be next to PAINT on the trim tag.your interior code is 416 for saddle leather. And you are correct it doesnt seem like that cruise was an option in 74

The 008 is probably C08 which stands for October 08, the date the trim tag was made and attached to the body.

68L is the paint colour, dark metallic brown.

Cruise was not available in '74, '77 was the first year for factory install.

Hey...had a 74 BB coupe that had cruise, then another 74 L48 4-speed car that also, had cruise. The first year that I think a vett came w/it was 77,but both cars looked like a factory setup. The L48 car is gone, but I still have the cruise pieces somewhere up in one of the lofts.

Upon closer look of the trim badge, it says D08.
Also, I reached up on the gas tank and found the build sheet. It was not in plastic and virtually unreadable. But you can almost make out the indentations. It is about 80% there. Is there any ultra-violet light or anything that will help read this?
thanks
