Default Tracking Dealer From Dealer Code

I ordered my window sticker from windowsticker.com but they don't have the information on file to decode my dealer from the tank sticker.

Anyone know of a resource that might be able to decode it?

By any chance anyone else's car ship to Zone 22 Dealer 174?

Not sure if this helps but I ordered a copy of my invoice (77 Vette) from GM Archive ($50) and it even shows who the dealer was and when it was delivered. Not sure if that is what you are after, if you need a phone number, just let me know.

Will their records go back to 1970? Thanks!

Thanks guys but I read in another thread that they only go back to 1977.

What if you know the dealer but don't have the window sticker? Would a dealer typically have any documentation? Has anyone attempted this?

I was told dealers keep info for 10 years. I can't remember how far back they go.

Ask over at the NCRS Tech Board:

http://www.ncrs.org/forum/tech.cgi

No number 174 was found under zone 22 in the dealer codes section, but someone may know.

Zone 22 was western Tennessee, Kentucky and part of Indiana.

Guys, I posted my request in the NCRS Tech forum and within a few minutes got a replay from a member suggesting I contact Al Grenning, another member who trades that sort of information for copies of tank stickers.

Too cool. Al sent me an email and said he has my information.

I asked what format he would like the tank sticker in JPG or TIFF.
