I'd like to get my hands on a BB chrome bumper car for low to mid 20's (which may be unrealistic). At that price i realize it may need some finishing. This one seems to fit in that category
The write-up makes such a big deal to convincing you that the engine is "likely" the original engine (broach marks, same stamping, etc.) that I have to believe it is just a good re-stamp. Nobody with a REAL numbers matching BB '70 C3 is going to sell it for 20K [unless it is really junk underneath].

I think if you can buy the car for around 25,000 it would be a very good deal. That said you need to look at the car & take someone who knows Corvettes well if you don't. ASK QUESTIONS!, body, frame damage or rot. What works what not. Frame looks a littile suspect to me. If you would like to call I will give you some pointers.

I may be wrong, but that's a replacement hood. No chrome trim on the "air vents" and no "454" numerals on the sides of the power bulge. If this is a professional dealer, there's something wrong with that car or he wouldn't be selling it for low $20's. Private party might be another matter.
I would check it out personally to find out exactly what needs "finishing".IF it is minor stuff and it is original engine 454,than it is a very good buy.
