mpett1-
NICE! What color is that? What color interior? Is under the hood that well done?

I'm kinda partial to that look though.

I bought this car in 1987(?) from a fellow NCCC autocrosser and added the LeMans lights, front roll hoop/door bars, spoiler, and rebuilt the engine. Ran NCCC auto-x/hi-speeds, EMRA time trials ans w2w. (came in 2nd in EMRW w2w AND 5th in the East Region running BOTH the same year. Never doing that again, whew. Also won B/SP in the SJSCCA Solo II series, year previous).

Sold the car in 1990 to buy this one...

If you go to http://www.parkeracing.com/index.htm you can see all the work that has gone into it. I hope to finish rebuilding it (for the second time) this year. /:\

I don't think the OP car has the Motion-style slanted rear window; it looks like a louver kit to me. Looks just like the kit I had on my custom '73 back in the early 80's:

Here's another for referance.A lot of these cars had an add on overdrive too! This one is a Phase III GT.

Hood scoop and reversed gills were a Baldwin Motion thing!

Western Vectors or Turbines, I think - I never can keep the two styles straight.

Sorry Batman- American Racing makes the Vector which is a copy of the Western Hurricane.

Western Hurricane top left Western Cyclone (often mistakenly called Turbine, I did) top right

Not to my knowledge. Sets do pop up from time to time on fleabay. 8.5" is fairly common. 10" is fairly expensive. /:\

Thanks for the information. Those are cool wheels. Someone should make copies in 16" and 17" sizes for modern tires.

Interesting that the dealer clip art was used. Not even a BB hood on the SS427 Vette. /:\
