Default headlights

Hey, just got a 76' its my first vette and i'm restoring it. I've tackled the transmission and engine, and the next thing is the headlights. I am just wondering what the cost is to fix the vacuum actuators? I'd Love the help thanks,

I've just fixed mine, they were closing ok but very lazy on popping up, I found a teared seals on both side. Total cost was $30 for a seal kit, replacing the seals was very straight forward.

Check out your vacuum line system before you spend money on actuators. Leaks are much more probable than "bad" actuators. Also, you can test the actuators for proper function either in or out of the car. All you need for this work is a vacuum pump (inexpensive hand-grip operated pump), a vacuum gauge (local auto supply $20), and a C3 vacuum system layout and diagnosis booklet (about $10 from any of the Vette parts catalogs). The testing process is simple, but you have to do it methodically per the diagnose booklet's instructions. As a C3 owner, you should have all of this stuff, anyway.
