Loose steering column

I just bought a 1971 Coupe and the steering column is wobbly where the tilt occurs. It moves vertically not horizontally. My understanding is, there are a few screws in the column that may need to be tightened. I have never worked on a steering column before. Any advice on how to do this and how difficult it is? I have no idea how to take it apart and what to look for. I would greatly appreciate any help/advice! Thanks in advance!

Those Jim Shea pages should tell you everything you need to know. I've had my column almost completely apart and back together using them.
