engine block id
I own a 2000 C5 six speed coupe. Bought new. In Aug 2007, bought 1969 coupe at Woodward Cruise. Not #s matching car, but very nice driver.
I want to track what vehicle and year the 454 engine is from. Tried many, many web sites without any luck. Sites give where to find block #s, but not how to find year and weather this engine is from a Vette, Chevelle or even a truck. Someone out there knows how to trace this. I need help. My computer skills are not very good!
Would also like to find what was original on the 69 without dropping gas tank for build sheet, if it is even there. Another web site?
