Did you put new or different tires on your new wheels? Could be a seperated or broken belt in your radial tire. You are correct, car looks great with the new wheels. I really, really like the look .
If a center cap is not loose, that would be my guess as well. The slotted alloys looks awesome though--great choice. Now just go with the 69 sidepipes and it will be perfect

Oh, the car looks terrific with the wheels and in the other thread with the new interior. Don't blow it with odd-era sidepipes.
As the tires were mounted on the new slotted rims, where they mounted back in the same position on the car?? As in, the left front tire was mounted back in the same position; right front in the same position, and so on and so on?
If not, that's your "pulling" problem. The tires were wearing a certain way for awhile - if they were not installed in the same configuration, that could be your "pulling" problem.
You are right with this when I took my wheels off to paint the wheel wells I was able to see the weights with a little groove carved out of them. I guess in time they will go to the right level where they wont rub anymore
Just curiosity?...what are "odd era" side pipes? Because I don't want those either so stop me before I go wrong unknowingly.
I think he is saying to not put 60/70's style sidepipes on an 80's car; it would look out of place. Personally, I love the look and would put on my car if they (original stainless steel version) were not so expensive and performance sucking. I'm hoping to get some Hookers this year.
