Default Help with guage restoration

I am restoring my center console gauge's on my 1970. My question is regarding what to use to clean the guage face without harming the finish on the face of all the guages i.e Clock, amp, water temp and so on?
I believe the lettering and numbering are of a reflective paint.

I believe the finish is silk screened, and thus VERY delicate. I would get a junk gauge to try some methods on before touching the faces of your
70's gauges.
Regards,
Alan

Just incase anyone wanted to clean their guages. I cleaned mine by using a wet Qtip and jently wiping the entire surface. I then used a dry Qtip to dry it clean. When finished the guages looked pretty good.
