Are you kidding? It was a huge technological feat for me just to post pictures! I'll have to play around with my digital camera... I think it may do short video clips? Stay tuned!

Hint: Start a youtube account. Its easy and free. You can then nest the youtube video by putting the following tags:

in your post. No space between the "t" and the "]".
Here's an example, posting one of my youtube videos:
There should be 2 clips there - one is a quick run through the gears, top up, windows closed.... so that's as quiet as it gets. I couldn't really get into it hard because I was trying to hold the camera. The second is idling in the driveway - you can hear about 1/3 of the way into it when I open the car door. Again, these are the Hooker Max-Flows on a small block. I would imagine a big block would be even louder. Sorry there's no picture - it's dark by the time I get home. Hopefully you can pull them up!

Really like that deep tone. The thunders seem tinny in comparison, at least to my ear. I've got a set of Max-Flows on my wish list to replace the glass packs behind my BB.
I, too, think they look GREAT!! I've always wanted sidepipes on my Vette, but since I'm short, I've been kinda worried about burning my leg getting out of the car. Is there maybe some kind of shielding that will help? Or should I just give up my dream of sidepipes??

Dean, your shields are beautiful!! I do have a question about how these things work. Looks to me that the heat would just transfer from the pipes to the shields - or is the heat dissipated through the cut-outs?
(sorry - hope I'm not hi-jacking this thread . . . .)

The air space (1/2 inch) plus the lettering cut outs leave a place for the heat to escape plus the stainless steel cools quickly. Now they are warm like toast out of the toaster but not hot enough to burn your kids, wife or friends legs. Plus the stainless steel stays nice and shinny with very little up keep. I just wipe with a damp rag and they look like new. It is interesting to take a wet rag an see it turn to steam instantly on the side pipes but you can still touch the steel shields with your hand at the same time. And did I mention they look good!
