Help with exhaust system, please...
I'm planning on installing a new complete exhaust system in a few weeks. Your thoughts to what I'm planning on doing would be greatly appreciated.
First, what I would like to do is replace the old stock exhaust manifolds. I want to go a little bigger then the stock ones which I think are 2" on the car right now to a 2 1/2" manifolds. Is this a good idea? What I'm looking for is a stock look but something that will give me a little more punch.
I'm also going with 2 1/2" pipes all the way to the back. Just not sure if I should go with aluminum or stainless steel?
Not really sure which muffler to go with? I did a search and seems like Magnaflow mufflers get the nod. I want the exhaust to have a little more of a growl then stock.
Once I get the details figured out will post before and after pics.
