I can't picture it bringing anywhere close to the starting price.
While it isn't too bad looking, I would be surprised if it were to sell for even half of that amount. At least it isn't as hideous as this thing that keeps popping up on Cragslist every few weeks up here.

It looks like quality work (from what little can be seen in photographs) but that kind of custom is really going to appeal to a very small subset of the corvette buying public.
It's virtually impossible to restore the car since the purchase price is going to be so bloody high and the cost of the restored bodywork added onto that would make it simply a waste of money to restore.
I tend to agree about how heavy the rear end feels - even the 78 and newer cars have that feel a little but the fact that the 78's and on have a greater rear overhang sorta balances it out..this car doesnt have that sort of offset.

Not too bad actually, dont like the rims, replace them with some TT's........dont like the big wheel flares either, & you MUST control, alt, delete, that nasty hood, replace it with a 67' stinger hood, and then maybe i'd park it on my property..........
but $80K...........is........... I N S A N E .......... AS IS $40K

I think if he can get $20K he should take it & laugh all the way to the bank !!

IMHO, should have put a stinger hood on it. As customs go, the split isn't so bad. At least it's a Vette styling cue. Bottom line is, if it upsets any died-in-the-wool purists, I like it.
