Default seat replacement question

I have a '69 coupe. Will later model C3 seats that have better lumbar support fit? Which model years would you recommend, if any?

C4 seats would be more comfortable, and you will only have to modify the C3 tracks slightly to fit the C4 seats properly.

I just put some non-power C5 seats in my '72, and they are FAR superior to the stock seats! I slightly modified the stock C3 seat tracks and also slightly modified the C5 seat frames to get them as low as (maybe even lower, I still have to measure to be sure) the stock seats, they were in my car in about 2 hours.

Does anyone have pics of the new seats in? What mods were done to adjust the seat tracks?

Just put in 03 sport full power w/3 lumbar in my 74.
I use the 03 track and mod its front bracket. Dont know how to
post pics yet. PM and will e mail pics to you. Plus I had to rewire

Ive got a set of 80 seats in my 68 and love them good support, retain fold down for easy rear access, and only minor trimming required to bottom bucket to bolt in original tracks. I got new foam and custom dyed leather cover to match my tobacco interior.

The newer vette and aftermarket seats may be more comfy/ add more support, and even look great as many have done this quite successfully, but Ive always found the 80 seats to be very comfy with the 4 in foam. have done 6-7 hour trips with no problems

cheers
