Default Thanks

Just got done replacing my acuators on headlights on the 75. Between the aims and ALOT of helpful hints to all thanks. The hardest part was to get them out once unbolted. The right one was the worst with the rubber boot just hanging in there. Now they work within seconds of each other. Question thou, what is the right speed for them to open and close anyway? Thanks for the help.

Assuming the vacuum system is all healthy and there is no binding they should actuate immediately, within a second of pulling the switch.

Just out of curiousity where did you get your actuators? I have to get actuators and relays and my local corvette guy told me to stay away from aftermarket relays cause they break really quickly. Any truth to that or is he just trying to get me to but from the dealer?

Thanks

Andy

Hi 2/3/08 I bought them from Zip cheaper if you get pair. Then found out you can buy the boot and washer kit, but you have to take them out anyway, to replace so i opted to replace acuators whole. to replace the seal and boot you got to be real careful not to nick the rubber. I guess it what is your choice. they work great, like the respons within seconds of each other. Johnn r75
