Its a spray used for removing siezed bolts and other stuck stuff. You can find it at most parts stores and it works great, but be carfull what you get it on cause it doesnt like paint. I dont know what is in it but it works, I also never heard of it until I came hear and kept hearing these guys rave about it so I got it and now I always have it when wrenching on the vette. Before I found this forum I had removed my calipers like you are know and had the same problem. I ended up using my impact gun on it and that worked but it was a pain, I wish I had known about pb blaster and CF then, it would have saved ALOT of time with trial and eror and busted knuckles
Good luck!
Oh you can see the end result of the PIA suspension teardown in avatar
PB Blaster is the stuff. WD-40 is not a penetrenet, it is a lube/water displacing chemical. PB Blaster penetrates and loosens rust etc. Great stuff and you can actually see it wick into the threads of the fasterners you spray it on.
PB blaster and 1/2 socket set with a 3 foot section of pipe to slide ratchet end on. I was able to remove almost every bolt on a car that's been sitting for 20 years in florida.
