Wow that looks great -- HUGE DIFFERENCE Keep up the good work I found the more I cleaned, polished and painted, the more I needed to do. It's a lot of fun though and very rewarding to those who like taking old things and making them look better than new.
You have a loose fan belt and one missing from the alternator!
If you look closer you will also see that i didnt have the distributor in, this was taken while still in the process of getting the engine ready for firing up.

Loved the 82 's "Lines" couldn't stand the engine bay or the performance. Then it hit me. If your not going NCRS or Bloomington. . . Change It! I've never been happier!
Also since these photos were taken I painted the underside of the hood Silver Beige & Dark Brown to match the Theme!
Really like your use of Gold in your engine bay. I love the look of silver & gold; I have a few things like master cylinder cover and various bolts that are gold . . . just a nice accent.
