Replace Mirrors???
I've got a 69 BB coupe that I'm having repainted. The P.O. replaced the original factory driver's side mirror with a pair of matching (and stock appearing) mirrors. He kept the original mirror, which is in beautiful shape, and it was in a box of parts that he gave me with the car. I know that the 69 was not available with a passenger side mirror and I'm wondering if I should put the original single mirror back on the car or continue with the two mirrors. I like the passenger side mirror for driving and would feel somewhat blind without it (especially with the big blind spot on the passenger side due to the roof line), but this would be my chance to go back if it would enhance the car's authenticity. I do know that when I first bought it, a guy was looking it over and asked if I had added the right side mirror, so knowledgable people do notice. Any adivice?

I'd keep it there. It's definitely a bad blind spot. Unless you are planning to have it judged I wouldn't worry about it. I have a passenger side mirror on my 70 and was glad it was there when I bought it. I would have put one there if there hadn't been one there.
