'75 drivetrain strength
I'm toying with the idea of building a 406 to replace this supposedly built up 350. I didn't build this engine and don't really think it's putting out like I'd like. I'm looking at near 500hp on the build and slightly more than that with the torque. Don't particularly race track or street, just like to go fast and the torque gets me there faster and makes it fun around town.
So, I'm wondering how much power the stock '75 drivetrain I have will take before failure. I've got a Keisler 500 in it at the moment. To the best of my knowledge the rest of it is stock or OEM replacement. I had some U joints replaced a couple months ago and will have to go in and spec them out for a better idea.
