Hi all, I know this has been covered before but what is the right name for the tool to check for the headlight vaccum lines? I've heard vaccum pump so i can check for air leak on the 3-miles of hose line. Thanks

Best way to do that is just examine each end of each line one at a time and make sure it seals. Lots of the slow headlight operation is from the vac relays not shifting well or leaking and from leaking dust boots on the actuators.
I use a small electric vacuum pump to check my vacuum system out. The handle hand vacuum pump takes tooooo long. The electric one evacuates the system in just a few seconds.
Roger Is this a vaccum pump that puts air into system with engine off so you can find a leak at one tee to another? Thanks johnnyr-75
P S I just put new acuators an the right one is alot better the boot over the clevis pin was shot. I just wanted to know if that vac would find other leaks.

The above link shows the vacuum pump I have.
A vacuum pump pulls air out of the system. I evacuate the system and then look to see if the system holds the vacuum. If not then separate the system into sections and check each section until you find the air leak.
