Have a new windshield in place when you get ready to remove that piece
...I went to paint and body shop to have mine done and the guy handed me the tool and said, get this, "BE CAREFUL". I asked what that meant and he laughed, told me he's broken plenty over the years and with a classic '72 looking at him he differed to me. I asked how much to do it cause I knew I'd break the dam thing..he did it NO problem. Just gotta know how to use that tool correctly. Just to replace the top front corner pieces. That's my story. Whew...

I found out the hard way. Never knew about the 2 screws outside. Scraping out the old sealant with a screwdriver just a little slip when I hit one of the screws and CRACK! Now, I know how to do it.
That was a $200.00 learning curve.
