The aim shows my vacuum overides in the middle under the column. Mine are on the right side of the dash over the gas pedal. It looks correct, because there is a special rubber block they mount in. Is this another 68 early design. Will this madness ever end.

Budman, early 68's were over to the side, later 68's and up were in the middle. What is the build date of your car?

Bud, what's the build date on your car? Can you post a picture of your override switches, I'd like to see what that rubber block looks like.
I thought the aim listed any changes during production?
Nov. 28th. Looks like I have 99% of the early stuff. When I changed all the hoses out I noticed the tape around the t-fittings and thought it was bubba'ed. Now I'm learning that is what the factory did to seal the lines.
...the early '68s were indeed that way, then complaints started getting back to GM about taller/longer legged people hitting their knees on them, so it was just another one of those '68 only changes.

Nov of 67?
My April of 68 built car has them under the column and the flasher behind the pass side dash.
