Ebay overpriced shipping.....

Most ebay sellers are charging a fair shipping fee. So you sellers posting on here need to understand this thread is against the ones trying to beat the system.
As far as they buyer goes, if the shipping is really unreasonable, actual postage and money for shipping supplies, do not send them a message telling them why you didn't buy. You send the report to ebay. They have been cracking down on these violators and they DO ban sellers who are violating their rules.
I was buying something really oversized the other day and the seller said that it would be $150 to build the crate plus the shipping fee. It was plainly stated and I have no problem with that.
As far as gas goes, you can print the labels and pay postage online and they come to your door and pick up the package for small packages.

Didn't know I'd open such can of worms....
Regardless of the flames here I feel that it's really "out there" to require a $25,00 shipping fee for something that would actually cost no where near that amount to ship anywhere in the US.

Nope. I made an offer for the item, to include shipping, that was what I felt reasonable, based on what I know it should cost.
And FWIW, I bought a couple items from others on here, and in one case I suggested that the seller needed to make sure he didn't lose money on the shipping.
