L46 : question about exhaust

Did the 1969/70 L46 come with 2" exhaust off of the manifolds, to flare out to 2 1/2" pipes from the front floor board area, back to the mufflers? That's what I have, and was wondering if it was an original set-up.

No. 2" all the way back. The LT-1 had the 2 to 2 1/2".
I plan on going with the 2 1/2" this spring with magnaflows from Corvette Central.

I just bought the magnaflows from CC last night. They have free shipping RIGHT NOW on orders over $200. Don't forget the hanger kit. They have a video/sound clip of the magnaflows on a vette, and it sounds sweet!
