I just switched mine out as the driver's seat looked like this. I tried dye first, Glass act is right it made the color uniform but the creases and cracks still showed and I'm a bit of a perfectionist on this kind of stuff. I don't know of any product that will make these look close to new again.
Dye may not hide the age cracks, but will make them look much better. The red color is worn through to the under color, dye them and I'm sure you will be happy with the result.
I was told some leather softener and saddlesoap (??? apparently my grandmother has it) would fix it right up. Im not really counting on that
Look on one of the Jaguar sites. There are some kits that are good restore/dye that include some leather softeners. The cracks will always be there, however some of thoes kits claim to lessen the hardness of the cracks. Cant hurt to try; the worst that could happen is you would need to replace them if you don't like the result.
Agree above. Soften them and dye them. They will have some "history" and "patina", but that is what gives some cars character. You should see my '67 Morgan! Perfection and new isn't always best, for an old car.

I wouldnt sadle soap thin leather that is allready too dry and cracking
If it was mine i would oil it very lightly to make it quit cracking
but i dnt mind having some oil on my but
Those seats are not too bad. Buy some lexol products and soften them up then some dye to conceal the cracks. They will never look new but you can get them to look much better. If you want new buy new seat covers but done sit in them because they will look used before long.
