Probably the lock cylinder, it is a minor/medium pain to replace, remove the wheel and loosen a set screw holding the cylinder in place. The good thing is that these are so common that your local discount parts store will have a suitable replacement for about $25.
If it is the ignition switch, that's not too bad either, screwed onto the column almost to the firewall, rectangualr about 1.5" by 4", couple screws or bolts holding it on, and wires to/from plug in.
