So I did a T5 swap into my 76 and was looking for a nice shift ****. I really liked my 98 T/A billet aluminum shift **** but the company that made those ***** closed a year or so ago. I came across UPR products and really like their stuff. I bought one of their shift ***** and the product is great. You guys should check them out. http://www.uprproducts.com/shift-*****-mustang.asp

I have three that I swap in and out at depending on my mood. I have the white Hurst 4-speed ball that was on the car when I bought it. It's cracked, so I bought a solid black chrome ball and also have a Hurst T-handle. I keep seeing more that I like, but then have to stop and think about pissing away my mod money on more shift ***** that I don't need.
Any one know where I can buy a white hurst 4 speed shifter ball for a 76? standard hurst white will not fit due to smaller thread and cut-out for reverse t handle. I love that old look and am dying to put one on my 76, just can't find one. I'm thinking about sending one out to be "modified/bored" out, but not if I can buy one already done.

Check JEGS out. They have the Hurst white ***** with several different threads in them.
I have been using billiard *****. I had a black 8 and it was lifted. Then a purple 4 ball which was stolen too. Finally the ivory cue ball and apparently no body wants it. I drilled the hole and ran a 3/8`s 18 tap into them unscrewed my little white ball each time and replaced it with the billiard *****.
I have a T-5 in my '72 as well, and I used a **** out of a 5 speed PT Cruiser. It's basically a hard plastic cue ball, but not as large. It can be had in white or off white and it has the correct shift pattern embosed on it. The **** off a Neon is the same and is available in black as well. Got mine on ebay for $10. Can't be much more than that at a Chrysler or Dodge dealer.
