I know it's a small step taken, but those of you that will remember the last thread didn't get to see it installed. Yes...the paint sucks, but you cans see how the new fuel door takes the place of the original to use the stock hinge and ring. I really like the way it looks, and I wanted to see how the new fill-through gas cap looked under it. It was a sealed cap that I vented with three tiny tiny tiny holes.
However, I would have rather seen you not put the new style cross-flags on it. I'd rather see the C2/C3 style.
Also why is it backwards? The checkered part is supposed to be on the left on the new style.

Sorry to be negative on your nice job.
I didn't use the new flag. I used the '77 flag. It's not backwards for that flag.
DB, Nice Job! Did you create a CNC file for it? If so, are you willing to share it? I can see scaling it up and making wall clocks with it. Just a thought.

I don't have the actual CAD file used by the etcher, but I have screen copies of it. I might be able to get it, but he did the design and technically owns it.

Matt, I really like the gas door. Sure looks hot.. I would be interested int he screen copie to. I have a CNC shop that I deliver to and I have kinda the same idea for a door with a few changes.. Hope its ok... Man thats going to look killer when its done....
What gasket? It's just the two rubber bump stops, and the drip guard and drain.
I would market them if the whole thing didn't cost me around $150 including parts, labor, and shipping.
I would gladly pay over $200 for one!! They are really boss! DB, you are going to have the most bitchin' Vette on the forum!!! Please say you will be making more!!!!
