That plate is worth a lot to someone with a '68. I would venture a guess and say it *might* be worth around $300.00, correctly restored. Anyone else want to take a crack at this???

I have followed a few of these '68 only on e-bay latley as a friend is redoing a '68.They seem to go for $50.00 to $150.00 deppending on the day and condition .My friend got one a few days ago for $90.00 including the ashtray ,lighter and shifter boot.I haven't seen it yet because he has yet to receive it.They're pretty easy to clean up.

after looking at your pictures some more in detail, looks like the flags were installed upside-down ... there is also some missing pieces to catch the ashtray cover when it slides down ... when you add in the ashtray, lighter, cover, 4speed plate, boot and paint ... it could end up being an expensive piece of restoration. Good luck ...
the flag is right side up , it has the factory rivots holding it on. i have all the parts to restore so i am going to go ahead and restore it for resale. i have about 25 console plates and just came across this one as i was going through my collection...thanks for all the help
