Thanks again for being such a great caretaker of that vette.
Thank you for your suggestion. Where could I get the best deal on a new overflow tank?

It became available around 70, it was an option/accessory until the sport mirrors became standard in 78.

Very beautiful. This is the true meaning of a Corvette owner vs. someone who owns a Corvette.

Nice Ride Dave- I'm in NJ as well,(Morristown) noticed you have the QQ plates. I may be looking at it's twin ,but a stock 77 L48 this weekend-do you have any details on the emissions requirements for non-QQ 77 cars? Do they look for the stock cat, or is any cat good enough? Do they tailpipe test it for emissions?
Thank you in advance
Steve

Steve, QQ Plate cars do not have to go to inspection. You must keep the car in a good and safe drivable condition. If a local cop notices that you are driving the car everyday he can give you a summons. QQ plates are only to be used on a car that is driven to and from shows or driven very seldom.

My boss owns a Bloomington Gold original 75 Vert with about the same mileage. His is white with oxblood interior white top, L48 auto. I do like yours, and I hope it's not one you never intend to drive even with the low miles.

That's correct on the passenger side mirror and I believe it was a dealer installed option to boot. Same with luggage racks.

I never can remember if and when they were available as a line option, or if they were only a dealer accessory. I think the luggage rack was a line option for at least one or two years.

Default Damage to rear fender, OUCH!!!

After I posted these photos someone asked about repairs over the 33 years of ownership. Most of the work done to this car was to improve it over a stock 1975 L48. Along with the above mentioned work I also installed an Edelbrock cam. All of the bushings have been changed to poly. The A.I.R. pump and EGR valve have been removed. The carb was rebuilt. I installed a shift kit in the T400 trans. All of these improvements have made this car run much better. Don't forget this was a choked-up first year catalytic converter Vette. Any part that was taken off of this car is stored away in case I ever got the bug to turn it back to stock.

Where should I go for a minor fiberglass repair in Union county NJ?
