Default headlights won't go down?

Hey,
Is there a way to lower headlights or which vacuum hose do i un-plug so they will go down?
Having a bit of a problem. Thanks for your time fellow vet owners

Reach up from underneath and pull on the "knee" of the joint. This will release them and the lights will come down. They will come down quite easily this way. No picture but think of the action as a knee operation and you will get the picture.

ok does this knee happen to be under each light or does this "knee" happen to be in the middle of the lights, this is on a 81 vette.

I don't have an '81 but I'm guessing the mechanism is similar. Can you spot anything that looks like this?

It will be under the headlights right in the middle. It is in the shaded part of that picture that is shown

Just push up the light assembly and grab the hedalamp cover edge from above and lift.
