car arrived today!
My new '70 arrived home today - shipped smoothly from storage in Michigan. I'm totally booked for the day though and leaving for a week tomorrow... at least I'll have it when I return home. I'm sure to be posting several stupid first-timer questions very soon.

GCCCH,
You said " my new 70 arrived from storage in Michigan". I didn't know that Chevrolet had stored some new 70's away and was selling them now. Cool!!! Do you know if they have any 71's stored away ?
I bet you can't wait to get back to check this baby out!!!
Good Luck With It!
Regards,
Alan

OK, I could not resist taking a few more shots exploring before I do my chores. Here's a shot of the car (some of you may recall this repeat), plus a couple of the drivers side mount (I had not checked this one originally), and what looks like my tank sticker ( looks pretty useless).
Enjoy!

Looks like a nice one to me. Looking forward to more pics.
Mine started out life as a DB Green Vert back in 1970. A LOT has changed since then.

That looks like a great car. The color is pretty nice on it, and its a convertible! Good luck in getting started on your projects to make it your own.

Thanks for all the comments... I'm wondering if it is worthwhile to drop the tank to retrieve the build sheet. It sure looks like it would be trashed.

Greg,
Very nice car! I really like the look of the convertible with a painted hardtop... Very cool!

I'd drop the tank and see what kind of shape the build order is actually in... You'd be surprised at how well those things hold up.
Enjoy the new '70!
