That flasher is for the emergency flashers, that's why they work. Need to replace the one for the signals behind the right side dash.

the round silver item is the flasher for the emergency.

My car interior is still out but this is the flasher for the signals. Yours may look slightly different.

is the turn signal flasher on the passender side or to the right of the gas pedal?

THANKS I found it, I had to take my dash out actually, I remembered that when I bought it, all those wires were hanging out for the world to see so at one point I removed the dash and stuffed them all up there not knowing that some were supposed to be hanging down for easier access
