here's a question. how are all you guys with '75 and later cars running side pipes? don't you have to bag the catalytic converter? isn't there some rediculosly galactically huge fine for that, if you're caught? i'd love to do side pipes but.........

The only problem I had was that the one header came in bent. I sent it back to Jet-hot and they sent me a new one right out.

Old topic I know but here in NC if it's 74 or later you don't have to have cat converters on the car. Now If I can just get the side pipes to stop leaking at the pipe and collector I'll be fine.

Welcome to the side pipe team. My Red 77 has them, been thinking about adding them to my Orange 77. They sure look great on your Silver. Nice job. Name: Right Side Rear.jpg

Sweet looking Vette. I love the way they match the wheels.

I was considering HH's but those look and that price is nice.
Where did you bung your sensor?

Cats weren't law until '75.

Your not a member of the sidepipe club until you get your "badge" (Left lower calf, driver, right lower calf, co-pilot). /:\

We are "Grandfathered" when they insp. our rides in N.Y. They basically perform a saftey check.... Head lights Hi/Lo, signals, brakes and break lights, tire tread depth and so on. If you need a place to perform this type of insp. contact me I've never been busted for the pipes !

There are many that like the Bare look but still don't want to burn the legs of friends and family so I have now made plain and simple highly polished steelshields for that smooth look.

I remember when I first put on my side pipes…

It really changes your cars personality

They look great…and I agree those are the right wheels

Did you put mufflers in the pipes?

Enjoy…
