Long story short, have problem putting the shroud in, but I pried and pulled and finally got the lower shroud in the bolts of the radiator support. The bottom of the shroud is pass the crossmember maybe 1/2 inch if not a little more. Doesn't look right. so I went to my brothers house to use his 69 vert as referance. His shrouds sits above the crossmember. My question is: is it possible for the front of the vette to sag lower? I've had the vette up on jackstands for 8 months now. Could this be the reason why thing aren't lining up???? Tony

Yes it's possible. The lower side bolts on the core support actually hold the front clip up. I have seen people raise the clip by loosening these bolts, jacking up the nose, and tightening the bolts for the desired height.
I'm thinking of loosening all the related bolts that I have taken off and drop the car down on the ground to see if that will change anything. It's the only reason I can think of why I'm having such a hell of a time getting things back together. Radiator/shroud especially. Tony
