Weather permitting I do ~300 mi/week to work and back. With diesel fuel more than $4/gal I'll probably keep my PU parked as much as possible this summer.

Half Mile a Day
Figureing the overall mileage 0f 28K in a 68 Vette, it settles down to around .5 miles per day {1/2}.

150K miles in 7 years. Then retired it. Now, 6K in 3 years.
Oh, its an "unreliable" crossfire with 206K miles on the ticker.
BTW, crossfire never a problem - not a dime. Everything else - guess what - about $25K in repairs.

Currently, I drive my '61 and '69 Convertibles about 1200 miles each annually.
Before I got my new Viper, they each were driven about 8,000 miles annually.
I also run my '68 Impala convertible an average of 6,000 miles a year.
