Well, there wasn't a barn but I got it anyway. Guy had it for 30 years. Inspection sticker expired in 1986. A good friend had told me about his brother in law having this car a couple of times but never thought it would be for sale. He called me a week ago and said it was for sale so we went down to see it. I brought it home Wednesday.
Cool find, but you $ure got your work cut out for you. Is it a 70? When was it last run? What's the milage? How's the interior? And post more pics.
Good luck with it.

There's a lot of work in your future! But, if that is an original LT-1 [and it looks like it is] and you didn't pay over $7500 for it, you got a pretty good deal and a nice project to work on. Interesting color, too. Have fun!
Yes, it's a project. It's a 70 LT1. He had some time ago took the bumpers and trim off and started sanding the body. The seats were loose and the carpet was out. He layed out all the parts and we loaded them. It is the original engine and tranny,M21. He had put a M22 in the car years ago and the original M21 was laying there easy to see the Vin. It has the original intake and holley, I think the distributor is original but I couldn't see the numbers without pulling it out. The wheels I think are original but I haven,t checked the codes. The one on the car I put on to move the car as the old ones wouldn't hold air.
Everthing I could see looked ok. lots of surface rust on the frame and suspension parts but all seemed solid. I wouldn't evern turn the engine over since it has been sitting so long. I think it had thirty something on the odometer. Id say 130k since it was a driver until 85 or 86.
