Cool pics. Are those first 2 a Cheeta? Looks like a handful- v8 powered monster go-kart. Ive heard they were too fast for the race bracket they were in and were disqualified-something like that.

I was there on Saturday. Seemed like many more cars at Rosemont than the last time I went to McCormick place. It was a surprisingly good show.
Way, way too many C4s and C5s with the entire Mid America Accessory Catalog along for the ride, plus a few nasty customs. But, there were some very nice cars, too.
I was so engrossed in taking engine compartment photos for reference, I forgot to get some shots of the stunning silver blue '58 and the nice black split window. Kevin caught a couple of the '69s.

Oh, I guess I did get a couple. The Steel Cities Gray was gorgeous, as was the Daytona Blue '64...

Surprisingly good. Not terrific, but there was some stuff. I was tempted by a couple rechromed front bumpers. Al Knoch and Corvette Central was there, too.

Not as many cars FS as I expected.

I used to see this car run at US 30 in the early 70's.

I have a cheap little camera, and only had 17 pics,so......How about the 5 1971 LS6 cars? Those made my heart pound! There was some nice cars there, and the vendors were okay. This was my first time at Rosemont.I have been to McCormicks place a couple times.I think that I like this place alittle better. It was a good time.

How did it do?I would love to see this ol'girl run!!!!!That would be a ride. There is nonthing there, but a BB!!!!! There's some kinda little baby black car out on the Mt.Auburn blacktop....hmmmmm...could be a future project?????

Here is one of my next projects I really need to get going on......For the church.Where people can drop the donated food off,and wheel it to the pantry that our church passes out to some people in need in the community.....I ordered big rims for the rear, and some slicks that should be in next week.I am going to sandblast it,and do custom paint, and try to work in a few Corvette pieces????Maybe,a expansion tank, and I don't know what else........

I feel like the Blue's Brothers....I'm on a mission from God.Actually....I don't tythe like I should,so this is my way to give something back to the church. I painted their school bus to pick the inner city kids up for free too......

I need all the help I can get to get to Heaven....

Those straight axles looked amazing! Haven't seen any of those in a LONG time.

Lots of nice stuff there for sure.
