Default Wilcox Quality Question

I MAde my first wilcox purchase after seeing they are on this site. I bought a wiper switch & a wiper ****. They switch feels worse than the one on the car now and the button falls right off. Is this the norm from them or did I get a bad wiper switch Also everything came in corvette america packaging.

I have not had problems with their quality.

I would suggest you contact them about the switch and your feelings about it and see what they can do for you.

I've had good luck with wilcox and yes, some of the parts come in Corvette America boxes, but the prices are better.

The customer service seems great so far. They explained the wiper switch I will keep it. and They are looking into the **** and will let me know if they will replace or I will send back. Cant really ask for much more than that when a problem happens

Bought carpet from them...well pleased! They even called me to make sure I wanted 80/20 loop carpet (as I indicated on the order), when my year's Vette stated cut pile carpeting was stock. I'm glad they called and brought that to my attention....I changed the order to cut pile. Wilcox said they would do an 80/20 loop, like I had ordered...but the car was meant for cut pile.

My dad recently placed an order for carpet and other interior components for his '85, and I had him add a set of pillars pieces for my '76 to his order. Willcox called him that day to verify the order - since he had placed an order for C4 parts AND C3 parts, they wanted to make sure he hadn't made a typo or used an incorrect part number.

Outstanding customer service!

I had a small problem with a tool I ordered from Willcox. Emailed sent and I received a phone call from Tom. The only way he could have been any more helpful would be to deliver my replacement tool himself.

Wilcox is a great company to work with, I requested a quote prior to doing a complete interior, on the quote there was a wrong price (way cheaper) and when I placed the order I wanted to know why it was more expensive? They looked up my qoute and honored that price! No haggleing or moaning, just sold it for what they said it would be. I ended up with a good deal for quality parts.
Gotta love a company that stands behind what they say and sell.

Don’t send the **** back to us; the shipping is too much to justify returning it.

We’ll pull a **** from stock and test it on the switch to see what the problem is. If what we have here fits, we will send you another ****; if it’s a quality problem we will issue you a refund (without sending it back). There is only one vendor on the **** so if there is a quality problem we will pull this item from sales until this issue is corrected. Tom will notify you tomorrow.

Willcox Inc.

Edit: Hold on installing either item. There may be a problem with the switch lever not having any teeth! If this is the case, this would explain the **** problem. Tommy will contact you tomorrow, I have left him a note on his computer screen so when he arrives he can try to figure out what the problem is. I'm sorry for the problem, we will figure this out ASAP!

Welcome to the world of Corvette parts vending. Every vendor shares parts with every other vendor. Period. Every company I've ordered from has sent me parts with other companies labels on them.

In the next few months I am planning to replace the entire interior of my C3. Based on the response that I have seen on this forum, EVERYTHING will be purchased from Wilcox. I am happy to give a great vendor such as this my business. Hard to find any better customer service..

Default Great service at Wilcox

I bought a vacuum storage replacement tank from Wilcox and then the former owner of my car was able to locate my original tank. Most places probably wouldn't want to take it back since it was quite a while but the guys at Wilcox could not have been better and they are always super fast getting my parts to me. Thanks Wilcox, you have a steady customer.

yeah i got the entire int pkg from willcox too. from what i was told by an installer, quality of parts is good. he's seen worse. questions he had was stiching- how will it hold up in the long run? also said installation was very easy compared to other kits. prices- maybe 1/2 the savings compared to others. it seems al knoch is well known around here too, so if the name of your supplier is important then check him out too.
